The Business Challenge:

You’ve been asked to develop your training delivery plan/approach to support the second half of 2021. You are expected to lead the delivery efforts of an upcoming priority one Tech initiative to the entire field taking into account the nuances of each functional group. In addition, you have received the finalized staffing plan which requires you to  onboard 250 employees with the expectation that they are fully skilled by Thanksgiving. You’ll be presenting your plan to the directors and VP in the next business update on July 2st. 

Using the details provided below, formulate your learning solution/plan. 


  • Compliance training is past due for your stakeholder group and will take priority and 50% of your shrink allocation for the month of July. Completion for leaders in your stakeholder group is currently 75%.
  • The Director Town Hall schedule is now finalized and these meetings are set to occur in the month of August. You are partnering to assist with production of breakout room activities.
  • Three of your six direct reports are currently supporting the business in other workgroups on special project assignments until August 10th. 
  • Current learning priorities are still in scope and in progress business as usual including a mix of VILT and OLT and self-paced methods.
